Classic dermatology
Dermatology is a branch of medicine that deals with the structure and functions of the skin as well as the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases.

Spider veins
The areas of skin affected by spider veins look like bruises from a distance, but the network structure of the small veins can only be seen upon closer inspection. If these bother you, there are various ways to remove them:
-
Obliterate spider veins: The obliteration of the smallest superficial veins (micro-sclerotherapy is currently the method of first choice).
-
Lasering spider veins: Laser therapy is possible for very small and poorly developed spider veins (percutaneous laser therapy).

Viral warts
Viral warts are a common skin condition caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). If viral warts are not treated, they can enlarge and/or multiply. There are different methods that can be used for removal: Icing (Cryotherapy), acid treatment, "burning" with electricity (electrocoagulation), laser treatment, surgical ablation (with curette, sharp spoon, scalpel)

Excessive sweating
Patients with hyperhidrosis suffer from excessive sweating, which hinders their daily activities. Excessive sweating can be caused by stress, emotions or exertion; However, in some patients it also occurs spontaneously. Patients with palmar hyperhidrosis have clammy or wet hands. This often creates social problems - because of the wet, cold handshake, it is simply difficult for them to shake someone's hand.
Botulinum toxin type A
-
This active ingredient is commonly known by the trade name Botox. It works particularly well for axillary hyperhidrosis and is one of the best-studied treatment options. The neurotoxin is injected to prevent excessive underarm sweating: the nerves can no longer send signals to the sweat glands and sweat production is therefore inhibited.

Skin cancer prevention
As the skin ages, wrinkles on the face deepen, especially those caused by facial expressions (expression lines). The treatment has now established itself as the most common treatment for mimic facial wrinkles worldwide. During the treatment, tiny amounts of a muscle relaxant are injected precisely under the skin. This relaxes the skin and reduces wrinkles.

Birthmarks
Moles are usually dark skin growths that develop from the skin's pigment-producing cells (melanocytes). Many people have a few birthmarks, but the tendency to develop atypical moles can sometimes be hereditary.
Birthmarks or moles can be removed with a laser or scalpel.
06
Eczema, neurodermatitis and itching
Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is inflammation of the outer layers of the skin, which usually manifests itself as redness, flaking and weeping crusts or blisters and is not contagious. They can occur on almost any part of the body, including the face.
Creams, solutions and shampoos are usually used in adult therapy. Common active ingredients are ketoconazole, ciclopirox as well as clotrimazole and metronidazole. Shampoos with zinc pyrithione, tar or selenium disulfide can also help with inflammation as they counteract pathogens.
